Retail Scales

Retail scales are used where a transaction takes place and an exchange of money is made. These types of scales are required by law to carry a "Green M" stating that they are legal for trade. Companies that fail to use Trade Approved scales when operating a retail operation can be investigated by their local trading standards and ordered to cease trading in extreme circumstances.
