There are many differing reasons for weighing IBCs, from weighing finished goods to go to suppliers, monitoring dosing performance or blending and mixing.

Our platform scales can be utilised as IBC weighers for many different functions, connect them to a load cell amplifier for connection to PLCs with a plethora of communication protocols such as ProfiBUS, ProfiNET, 4-20ma and MODBUS.

We also have terminals for monitoring fill levels and can trip alarms for varying weights such as low level or high level. These trips can also control filling equipment to stop when a specific amount of product has been measured in or out.
