Bench scales is a generic term used for a wide range of weighing equipment that is suited to use on a workbench or table. Generally bench scales will have a maximum weighing area size of around 600 x 600mm, scales of this size that are fitted with a pillar / column (or swan neck) tend to have a height more accustomed to being placed on the floor, its important to check the height of the column and whether the indicator can swivel to a desirable angle.
